ExternalCalibrationSession.AdjustDsaAO Method
Adjusts the external calibration constants for the analog output section of a DSA device.

Namespace:  NationalInstruments.DAQmx
Assembly:  NationalInstruments.DAQmx (in NationalInstruments.DAQmx.dll) Version: 20.7.45.49302

Syntax

public void AdjustDsaAO(
	long channel,
	double requestedLowVoltage,
	double actualLowVoltage,
	double requestedHighVoltage,
	double actualHighVoltage,
	double gainSetting
)
Public Sub AdjustDsaAO (
	channel As Long,
	requestedLowVoltage As Double,
	actualLowVoltage As Double,
	requestedHighVoltage As Double,
	actualHighVoltage As Double,
	gainSetting As Double
)

Parameters

channel
Type: SystemInt64
The number of the channel to calibrate. This number is the numeric portion of the physical channel name, not the full physical channel name.
requestedLowVoltage
Type: SystemDouble
The low voltage you attempted to generate at the gainSetting you specified.
actualLowVoltage
Type: SystemDouble
The actual low voltage as measured by an external sensor.
requestedHighVoltage
Type: SystemDouble
The high voltage you attempted to generate at the gainSetting you specified.
actualHighVoltage
Type: SystemDouble
The actual high voltage as measured by an external sensor.
gainSetting
Type: SystemDouble
The gain setting you used when you attempted to generate the requestedHighVoltage and requestedLowVoltage.

Exceptions

ExceptionCondition
DaqExceptionThe NI-DAQmx driver returned an error.

Remarks

You must use the device to generate a high voltage and low voltage at a specified gain, measure the high and low voltages, then specify the requested high voltage, low voltage, and gain along with the actual high voltage and low voltage.
