referenceVoltage: Type: SystemDouble
The known voltage to use as a reference for calibration. This voltage must be between +6.000 V and +9.999 V.

Exception	Condition
DaqException	The NI-DAQmx driver returned an error.

You must connect a known voltage to the device and specify that voltage with referenceVoltage.
