Uploading Measurement Data

Upload measurement data gathered during validation test, simulation test, and production test to evaluate the compliance of the data with the defined specifications over the product life cycle.

  • Open the Spec view for the product.
  • Upload specifications for the product.
Note The Measurement view, Compliance view, and Spec Mapping view are disabled until you upload product specifications.
  1. Click the Measurement View button (1378) on the left pane of the Specification Compliance Manager user interface to open the Measurement view for the product.
  2. Select the discipline for the measurement data from the drop-down menu at the top of the Measurement view.
  3. Open the menu in the top-right corner of the Measurement view and click Download Measurement Data Template.
    Specification Compliance Manager will download a ZIP file to your local machine. This ZIP file contains a PDF document with formatting instructions for the measurement data file as well as a CSV file which provides an example of correctly formatted measurement data.
    Note If the Measurement view is empty, the Download Measurement Data Template button appears in the center of the view.
  4. Create a measurement data file that aligns with the requirements defined in the instructional files.
  5. Click Upload Data at the top of the Measurement view and select the CSV file(s) in File Explorer that you want to upload.
    Note Specification Compliance Manager has a 128 MB file size limit for measurement data file uploads.
  6. Click Open.
    Tip You can interact with Specification Compliance Manager and upload additional measurement data files while the file upload process is ongoing.
  • If you encounter errors during the measurement file upload process, review the progress bar on the bottom right of the Measurement view to identify the error and determine the resolution.
  • To delete a measurement data file, select the checkbox for the file you want to delete, click Delete in the top-right corner of the Measurement view, then click Yes, Delete in the confirmation pop-up window.
  • To delete both the product specifications and measurement data, open the Spec view, open the menu in the top-right corner of the view, click Delete Specs & Data, then click Yes, Delete.
