Overriding Health Status Indicators

If needed, Specification Compliance Manager provides the capability to manually override health status indicators on the Compliance view.

When a health status indicator is manually overridden, the icon displayed on the Compliance view is updated to indicate the override. Refer to the following table for descriptions of each health status indicator override icon.

Table 5. Compliance Health Status Indicator Override Icons
Icon Name Description
1378 Passed User has overridden the health indicator to a passing status.
1378 Warning User has overridden the health indicator to a warning status.
1378 Failed User has overridden the health indicator to a failing status.
  • Open the Compliance view.
  • Scroll to view the specification category that contains the health indicator to override.
  1. Open the drop-down menu next to the health status indicator you want to override. This drop-down menu appears only when you mouse over a health status indicator.
  2. Click Change Health.
  3. Select the health status to apply.
  4. Enter a description for the status override in the Reason For Change field. This field is mandatory for change tracking purposes.
  5. Click Save.
The health status indicator icon on the Compliance view will update to the status you selected. If a health status indicator is overridden, the icon on the Compliance view is changed slightly to show that an override is in place.
Note To view the history of overrides for a specification, open the drop-down menu next to the health status indicator and click View Change History.
