Product Dashboard

The Product Dashboard displays every product entry in Specification Compliance Manager that your user account can access. Each entry on the Product Dashboard displays the product name and revision number, the number of defined product specifications, and the number of specifications with data compliance issues.

Note Click Create Product to add a new product entry to the dashboard. You cannot change a product name after product entry creation. Ensure that the product name is correct before you click Create.

Select an entry on the Product Dashboard to view in-depth information about the product. The Specification Compliance Manager interface provides the following six views to display product information and to evaluate compliance to specifications.

  • Spec View—Displays the specification requirements that you set for a product.
  • Measurement View—Displays data from each stage of the product development cycle.
  • Compliance View—Displays an analysis of measurement data compliance with the product specifications.
  • Spec Mapping View—Provides functions to define relationships between product specifications and measurement data.
  • Product Comparison View—Provides functions to compare specifications and compliance data between different products or between different disciplines of the currently selected product.
  • Histogram View—Provides functions to generate histograms based on the uploaded measurement data.
    • Note The Measurement view, Compliance view, Spec Mapping view, Product Comparison view, and Histogram view are available only after you upload a product specification file to the Spec view.
