Installing Specification Compliance Manager
Specification Compliance Manager requires server installation and configuration before you can create user accounts, define product specifications, and upload data for analysis.
- Navigate to the offline installer file, located in: <Installer Folder Path>\offline\uncompressed

Run Install.exe to initiate the installation process.
If Windows User Account Control (UAC) is active, a prompt will appear to allow the installer to run.Note If NI Package Manager (NIPM) is not already installed on the local machine, the Specification Compliance Manager installation process will begin by installing NIPM.

Review the summary of software packages that NIPM will install, then click
Next.
During the Specification Compliance Manager installation process, Microsoft SQL Server 2019 Express Edition is installed and the resulting SQL server is configured with the necessary data to operate with Specification Compliance Manager.Note If you encounter Windows error 3010, power your local machine off and on, then restart the Specification Compliance Manager installer. The installation will begin where it stopped previously.Note You must have administrator-level access to the Specification Compliance Manager server to install the application.
Continue to the product activation procedure or click Cancel to skip product activation for now and end the installation process.
