Some configuration options can lead to slower than expected test times when using the TestStand Semiconductor Module. You might be able to improve performance of a test program by disabling hyper-threading or by reducing the number of cores the CPU uses. Always measure performance before and after making any changes to determine how the change affects performance.
Use the BIOS settings on the computer to disable hyper-threading or to change the number of CPU cores. Typically, you enter the BIOS settings screen by pressing the <Delete> (DEL) key after you restart the computer.
