Use the Component Wizard to step through the process of creating components for simulation and layout, simulation only or layout only. You can also create components for use in PLD schematics from education-specific editions of Multisim.

Complete the following steps:

  1. Click the Component wizard button in the Main toolbar to launch the Component Wizard.
  2. Complete each step of the wizard and click Next when ready to proceed to the next step.
  3. Click Help in any step where you require more detailed information.

      You can create resistors, inductors and capacitors for simulation using the wizard. However, they will only contain basic simulation model information. When placed from the Master Database, they will have additional SPICE simulation parameters, such as temperature and initial conditions.
