4-Channel, Master C Series HART Interface Module
Overview
The AM-9898 allows a CompactRIO system to connect to one device per channel in point-to-point mode or 15 devices per channel in multidrop mode. In point-to-point mode, the AM-9898 provides 4 mA to 20 mA signal measurements with a superimposed digital HART signal that provides additional information, such as device status and diagnostic data. In multi-drop mode, the AM-9898 provides a constant 4 mA signal with the superimposed digital HART signal for up to 15 devices per channel.
