RFmx Waveform Creator supports the following downlink test models.

  • E-UTRA Test Model 1.1 (E-TM1.1)
  • E-UTRA Test Model 1.2 (E-TM1.2)
  • E-UTRA Test Model 2 (E-TM2)
  • E-UTRA Test Model 2a (E-TM2a)
  • E-UTRA Test Model 2b (E-TM2b)
  • E-UTRA Test Model 3.1 (E-TM3.1)
  • E-UTRA Test Model 3.1a (E-TM3.1a)
  • E-UTRA Test Model 3.1b (E-TM3.1b)
  • E-UTRA Test Model 3.2 (E-TM3.2)
  • E-UTRA Test Model 3.3 (E-TM3.3)

If multiple carriers are configured with ETMs, the cell ID is incremented by 1 for each additional configured carrier. For more information about the ETM models, refer to section 6.1.2 of 3GPP TS 36.141 specification.

To configure test models, select an option from the Test Model drop-down menu. The default value is None.

RFmx Waveform Creator will configure all the necessary parameters as defined in section 6.1 of the 3GPP TS 36141 specification.

Note In order to configure Case C - upto 1.88GHz un-paired spectrum, configure SSB Pattern to Case C - upto 3GHz. Similarly to configure Case C - 1.88 to 6GHz un-paired spectrum, configure SSB Pattern to Case C - 3 to 6GHz.
