Temperature Sweep and Parameter Sweep analyses can be performed in a nested fashion, with a series of sweeps being performed, each within the constraints of the sweep before it. For example, you can perform a temperature sweep on the results of a parameter sweep.
Complete the following steps to perform a Nested Temperature or Parameter Sweep Analysis:
- Select Parameter Sweep in the Analyses and Simulation dialog box.
- From the Analysis to sweep drop-down list, select Nested sweep.
- Click Edit analysis.
The Nested Parameter Sweep dialog box appears. The title bar of the dialog box indicates you are defining nested sweep level 1.
- Set the parameters as desired.
- To create another level of the nest, again select Nested sweep from the Analysis to sweep drop-down list.
- Click Edit Analysis.
A new Nested Parameter Sweep dialog box appears, this time indicating that you are at nest Level 2.
- Continue to add nested sweeps by repeating this procedure.
- Click Run.
