TNT4882

The TNT4882 is a single-chip IEEE 488.2 Talker/Listener interface to the GPIB. It combines the circuitry of the NAT4882 IEEE 488.2 controller application specific-integrated circuit (ASIC), Turbo488 performance-enhancing ASIC, and GPIB transceivers to create a single-chip IEEE 488.2 interface. You can port existing code from the NAT4882, the NEC µPD7210, and the TI TMS9914A register sets directly to the TNT4882. The TNT4882 features transfer rates up to 1.5 MB/s using the IEEE 488.1 handshake or up to 8 MB/s using the HS488 GPIB handshake protocol. The TNT500X is Restriction of Hazardous Substances Directive (RoHS)-compliant. Additionally, the TNT4882 includes a 100-pin plastic QFP surface-mount package with built-in IEEE 488.1-compliant transceivers.
