The measurement uses the CDMA2k scrambling sequence consisting of short and long PN codes to synchronize to slot boundaries.

Note  The synchronization of signals scrambled with a non-zero long code mask is constrained by the internal scrambling sequence length of 80 ms. If the long code mask of the long PN code is non-zero, the signal to be measured needs to be scrambled with 80 ms of scrambling sequence after initialization of the long PN code generator. The signals with long code mask equal to zero are not affected by this constraint.
