Use this section to learn about methods for aggregating power quality data that you can analyze with the LabVIEW Electrical Power Toolkit.
Aggregation is the statistical averaging of values that are recorded over time to acquire a single and representative value for the total time period. Aggregation is useful for the evaluation of power quality across a large electrical power system. A large electrical power system typically experiences constant disturbance levels over short periods. To obtain representative values without recording all the data continuously, you use aggregation. Aggregation can also reduce the amount of data that you need to store for a long period of time.
