Install all or selected updates using Update Service.

To download and install updates, you must enable User Account Control (UAC) and you must log into at least a standard level Windows account.
  1. Select the updates that you want to install.
    • Use Edit » Select All Urgent Updates to select all urgent updates to install.
    • Use Edit » Select None to deselect all selected updates.
  2. Click Install.
    Update Service checks for incompatibilities between installed software and any updates you checked. If incompatibilities are found, Update Service prompts you to correct the incompatibilities. If no incompatibilities are found, Update Service downloads and installs the selected updates.
Note Select File » Exit at any time to exit Update Service without downloading or installing any updates.
  1. During installation, Update Service closes and the update installer appears. The installer shows progress bars to inform you about the installation progress.
