Test Bench Operation

Test bench operation includes the following tasks:

Starting the Application
Operating in Test Bench Simulation Mode
Using Manual Mode

Changing from Automatic to Manual Mode
Changing from Manual to Automatic Mode
Using the Message System
Manually Shut Down the Application
Managing External Devices
External devices are initialized and controlled automatically when the system is switched on.
Reloading Sequence or Step Tables
The most common group types of PAconfigurator can be exchanged during the runtime of the test. This exchange is called reloading. The details on reloading objects can be found in the PAconfigurator manual.
Data Storage in Container
A container is a general data store. It determines the storage location in which the measurement files and their organizational data are stored.
Managing the Circular Buffer
The diagnostic circular buffer is managed on the tab Circular buffer in the top right area of the main control window.
Locking Dialog Windows
The LockAny module allows you to protect dialog windows against unauthorized operation by setting a password request. Which dialog windows are affected depends on the type of application you use.
Displaying System Information
The Sysinfo tab displays important values of the PCU on which the current application is running.
Displaying the State of the Safety Control System
The SCS tab displays safety controlled operating modes and the position of the switch of the test bench. The operating mode and key switch are located on the operator panel or the control cabinet.
Displaying Maintenance Data
The MAC (Maintenance Counter) records times and loads changes and values to be integrated over time.
