Data Storage in Container
A container is a general data store. It determines the storage location in which the measurement files and their organizational data are stored.
Without an active container, neither automatic nor manual operation is possible. A folder is created parallel for each container in an ergX directory of the PCU. Only one container can be active at the same time for each active data store.
User Interface for Controlling Measurements
The user interface for the operation of measurements is on the Measurement data tab of the main control window.
User Interface for Container Management
Containers are managed in the dialog window Organisational data. To open this dialog click from the selection list on the bottom right.
Container for Measurements
For all operations dealing with a container, click from the selection list on the bottom right to open the Organisational data dialog window.
There you can:
- Create a new container. The Container Generator adds a new directory on the hard disk of the PCU where your results files will be stored.
- Close the active container to delete it, select another container, or create a new one. Closing the active container stops all current measurements for the container.
- Select another existing container to store new results or measurement files.
- Delete an existing container including its results and measurement files.
