Run open circuit voltage (OCV) tests using the example VIs in the Battery Cell Quality Toolkit.
The following steps describe an overview of running OCV tests.
- Verify that the DMM is within the external calibration window to ensure the accuracy of measurements.
-
Perform testing on batteries in a suitable fixture.
Refer to Preparing the Facility for more information about suitable fixture designs.
-
Configure the measurement circuit.
- Connect the battery cell to the DMM.
- Set up the measurement circuit.
- Use a reference electrode to ensure accurate measurement of the cell potential.
-
Run the OCV test.
Choose one of the following tests based on your test requirements. Use the provided API to complete your test.
