Battery Cell Quality Toolkit Overview

The Battery Cell Quality Toolkit is an out-of-the-box solution for testing battery cells. The Battery Cell Quality Toolkit runs on a flexible PXI chassis configuration to provide repeatable measurements. Use the Battery Cell Quality Toolkit to perform electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS), AC internal resistance (ACIR), and open circuit voltage (OCV) tests.

Battery Cell Quality Toolkit Key Features

The Battery Cell Quality Toolkit has the following features and capabilities.

  • Perform electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS), AC internal resistance (ACIR), and open circuit voltage (OCV) tests.
  • Create compensation values for a single frequency using ACIR. Create compensation values for multiple frequencies using EIS.
  • Perform multiple simultaneous and parallel EIS tests using multiple SMUs.
  • Monitor the temperature of the surrounding environment during tests.
  • Test multiple battery cells using NI switches and one SMU.
