Run DC internal resistance (DCIR) tests using the example VIs in the Battery Cell Quality Toolkit.

Introduced in Battery Cell Quality Toolkit 2025 Q4

  1. Verify that the electronic load is within the external calibration window to ensure the accuracy of measurements.
Include a calibration of the resistance measurements.
  2. Perform testing on batteries in a suitable fixture.
Refer to Preparing the Facility for more information about suitable fixture designs.
  3. Configure the measurement circuit.
    1. Connect the battery cell to the electronic load.
    2. Use a Kelvin connection for the remote voltage sense wires.
For more information, refer to documentation for the electronic load.
  4. Update the DCIR test VI.
  5. Run the DCIR test.
Choose one of the following tests based on your test requirements. Use the provided API to complete your test.
