ATE Core Configurations Generation 2 systems are equipped with TEMP-1012X temperature sensors that are spaced throughout the rack to track temperature.

The ATE Core Configurations Generation 2 RCU contains four temperature sensor buses for connecting temperature sensors. These buses allow up to four temperature sensors to be daisy-chained together per bus for a maximum of 16 temperature sensors per system.
Note The first sensor connected to each RCU temperature sensor bus must be a TEMP-10120 sensor. Temperature sensors daisy-chained together from the first sensor must be TEMP-10121 sensors.

ATE-15U systems come equipped with three sensors used to monitor the intake temperature of the rack, while ATE-38U/44U systems come equipped with four sensors.
