You can change the properties of an individual component that has been placed on the schematic.

  This changes the properties of the selected instance of the component only. When the same component is placed from database, the changes will not be reflected.

Complete the following steps:

  1. Double-click on the desired component to open its properties dialog.
  2. Select the desired tab and make the required changes.
  3. Click Help for details about each tab.
  4. Click OK to accept the changes.

      To replace a component entirely, double-click on it and click Replace. The Select a Component dialog box displays, where you can select the replacement.
