Operating Modes

The Ettus USRP B310 supports the following operating mode:

  • Host-controlled operation—A host computer controls RF operation and data movement over PCIe or Thunderbolt™ (Tunneled PCIe).

    • Fixed Hardware Capabilities

    The Ettus USRP B310 is a fully integrated device with fixed RF hardware.

    • RF front ends are not interchangeable.
    • Hardware capabilities are determined by the installed variant.

    Configuration affects operation, but it does not change the underlying RF hardware.
