To ensure proper functionality across the supported operating temperature range, you must mount the USRP B310 (OEM) in a configuration that supports adequate airflow and ventilation. Installing the device according to the referenced requirements helps ensure reliable operation and protects internal components from thermal and environmental stress.

The following figure shows the location of the mounting holes on the USRP B310 (OEM).

The USRP B310 (OEM) provides six mounting holes threaded for M3 fasteners. The mounting holes may also accommodate M2.5 through-bolts using a nut-and-screw attachment method. Additionally, there are two M2.5 blind holes on the front panel.

Ensure retaining screws are utilized for the HDMI Type C GPIO and USRP Sync connectors. Ensure all SMA connectors are torqued to 0.9 N · m (8 in.-lb) for optimal shock and vibration performance.
