Time Interval Operation - Wait Step Configuration Dialog Box
Time Interval Operation
The Time Interval operation causes a thread to wait for a duration you specify. The thread sleeps while it waits, thereby relinquishing processing time to other threads.
The Time Interval operation contains the following option:
- Specify the Amount of Time to Wait (in seconds) —A numeric expression that indicates the amount of time for the thread to wait, in seconds.
Note
In certain situations, Wait steps take longer to execute than the time you specify in the step when the operating system timer is running slower than actual time. Visit
