Use Nigel AI to answer your questions about SystemLink resources.
Before you begin, your ni.com account needs an active Nigel entitlement. The early access release of SystemLink does not provide a Nigel entitlement. You need an entitlement from another NI software such as LabVIEW or TestStand. For more information, refer to How to Access, Activate, and Troubleshoot Nigel for LabVIEW and TestStand.
In addition, your SystemLink user account must be a member of the workspace you want to use Nigel on. The user account must have a role with AI access.
- Log into your SystemLink instance.
- In the toolbar, click the Nigel icon button.
-
When SystemLink prompts you, sign in to Nigel with your ni.com account.
Your ni.com account is different from your SystemLink account.
- In SystemLink, review the Nigel chat window that opens.
- In the Ask Nigel field, enter What questions can you answer with tools? and submit the question.
- Ask Nigel questions about the resources available in the workspace.
