You can expand the size of a plot legend to display more plots simultaneously, and add new plots by entering information in empty plot legend items.
-
To expand the size of a plot legend, move the Positioning tool over the border of the
plot legend, and when the resizing handles appear at the corners of the legend and in the
middle of each border:
- Drag a handle up, down, left, or right as desired.
- Release the mouse button when the legend contains the correct number of plots.
The larger plot legend displays more existing plots to users simultaneously. If you increase the size to display more plots than the number of data inputs you are passing to your graph or chart, additional plots appear that are not connected to a data input. -
Empty plots can appear in plot legends with scroll bars if you scroll past existing
plots in your legend. LabVIEW dims these empty plots. To add a plot to a plot legend using
an empty plot:
- Click the increment arrow on a plot legend scroll bar to expose an empty plot.
- Click the empty glyph in the empty plot or enter a plot name to create a new plot.
