FlexLogger uses the LabVIEW FFT Power Spectrum and PSD VI to compute the magnitude of the averaged power spectrum of your input signal. FlexLogger reports the magnitude of the averaged power spectrum in decibels (dB).

FlexLogger converts the magnitude from input signal units to dB using the equation below, where Yi is the magnitude of the averaged power spectrum in dB and Xi is the magnitude of the averaged power spectrum in the units of your input. For example, volts.
