The ERC markers stay on the schematic until you explicitly clear them, or run a new ERC with Clear ERC markers selected in the ERC options tab of the Electrical Rules Check dialog box.

  ERC markers do not update automatically. You must run a new ERC for the marks to be updated.

Complete the following steps to clear ERC markers without running a new Electrical Rules Check:

  1. Select Tools»Clear ERC markers to display the ERC Markers Deletion Scope dialog box.
  2. Select one of:
    • Active sheet only—Clears all ERC markers from the currently-selected sheet.
    • Entire design—Clears all ERC markers from all sheets associated with the design.
  3. Click OK to delete the selected markers.
