After you open a device control setup in a large panel, you can customize the register map selection and hardware configuration that define the device control setup.

Before you begin this procedure, you must create a device control setup and, if needed, create a hardware configuration to define the interfaces and protocols of hardware in the system.

Complete the following steps to customize a device control setup.

  1. Open a large panel with the device control setup you intend to customize.
  2. Click Edit Setup to open the Custom Setup dialog box.
  3. Select the register map, scripting file, and hardware configuration for the new device control setup.
  4. Click Apply.
After you click Apply, the Semiconductor Device Control Add-On will create a new large panel using the selected device control setup.
