Unique Behavior for Disconnecting the Output

This instrument has unique behavior around disconnecting the output.

Channels of this instrument are automatically connected upon entering the Committed state. Channels of most other NI-DCPower instruments are automatically connected upon entering the Running state.

To disconnect the terminals use the niDCPower Output Connected property or the NIDCPOWER_ATTR_OUTPUT_CONNECTED attribute.

Only disconnect the output when it is necessary for your application. For example, a battery connected to the output terminal might discharge unless the relay is disconnected. Excessive connecting and disconnecting of the output can cause premature wear on the relay.
