Use the NI-FGEN ni5433 Ext Cal VIs to perform external ADC, timebase, and flatness calibration on PXIe-5413/5423/5433 waveform generators.

Open Ext Cal Session VI
Opens an external calibration session for a PXIe-5413, PXIe-5423, or PXIe-5433 waveform generator. This VI resets the device and downloads the calibration bitstream to the device if it is not already present.
Close Ext Cal Session VI
Closes an NI-FGEN external calibration session to PXIe-5413/5423/5433 waveform generators. If specified, this VI stores the new calibration constants and calibration data, such as time and temperature, in the onboard memory.
ADC Cal Initialize VI
Initializes an external calibration session for ADC calibration on a specified channel or channels of a PXIe-5413/5423/5433.
ADC Cal Configure VI
Configures the channel of the PXIe-5413/5423/5433 specified with the ADC Cal Initialize VI and then returns a value for approximate voltage generated, which is used to program the range of a DMM connected to the previously specified channel.
ADC Cal Adjust VI
Measures the generated voltage of a PXIe-5413/5423/5433 with the onboard calibration ADC and compares it to the actual voltage measured by the external DMM, performs any required adjustments to the ADC, and computes any calibration coefficients that will be stored in the onboard memory when the calibration session is committed.
Timebase Cal Initialize VI
Initializes an external calibration session for timebase calibration on a specified channel of a PXIe-5413/5423/5433.
Timebase Cal Configure VI
Configures the channel of the PXIe-5413/5423/5433 specified with the Timebase Cal Initialize VI and then returns a value for approximate frequency generated, which is used to program an oscilloscope (external timebase calibration source) that can measure a 5.5 V_pk-pk sine wave of the returned frequency.
Timebase Cal Adjust VI
Measures the generated frequency of a PXIe-5413/5423/5433 and compares it to the actual frequency measured by the oscilloscope, performs any required adjustments to the internal TCXO, and computes any calibration constants in the onboard memory.
Flatness Cal Initialize VI
Initializes an external calibration session for flatness calibration on all available channels of a PXIe-5413/5423/5433.
Flatness Cal Configure VI
Configures the PXIe-5413/5423/5433 for an iteration of the flatness calibration step.
Flatness Cal Adjust VI
Saves the externally measured power of a signal generated by a PXIe-5413/5423/5433, performs any required adjustments, and computes any calibration constants in the onboard memory.
Set User Info VI
Stores user-defined information in the onboard memory.
Get User Info VI
Retrieves user-defined information previously set by the Set User Info VI from the onboard memory.
