Timebase Cal Adjust VI
- Updated2025-10-07
- 2 minute(s) read
Measures the generated frequency of a PXIe-5413/5423/5433 and compares it to the actual frequency measured by the oscilloscope, performs any required adjustments to the internal TCXO, and computes any calibration constants in the onboard memory.
This VI also indicates if timebase calibration is complete. You must repeat the timebase calibration adjustment procedure steps until this VI returns TRUE for timebase cal complete.

Inputs/Outputs
external cal session in
—
External Cal Session In identifies an external calibration session.
measured frequency
—
Measured Frequency specifies the frequency of the analog output signal generated at a specified channel of the waveform generator as measured by the oscilloscope connected to the channel being calibrated.
error in
—
error in describes error conditions that occur before this node runs. The default is no error. This node executes regardless of an incoming error. This input contains status, code, and source, which provide standard error in functionality.
external cal session out
—
External Cal Session Out returns a reference to your external calibration session to wire to the next VI.
timebase cal complete
—
Timebase Cal Complete returns TRUE if timebase calibration is complete. If this parameter returns FALSE, you must repeat calls to the Timebase Cal Configure and Timebase Cal Adjust VIs until timebase calibration is complete.
error out
—
error out contains error information. This output provides standard error out functionality. |
