This component switches on and off during transient simulation.

In the example above, the time delay switch remains open during the first 0.5 seconds of transient simulation. It then closes for one second, and then opens for the remainder of the simulation. This is reflected in the graph below.

The Value tab contains the following parameters:

  Parameter   Description
Time on (TON) Simulation time when switch closes.
Time off (TOFF) Simulation time when switch opens.
On resistance (Ron) Resistance of the switch when closed.
Off resistance (Roff) Resistance of the switch when open.
