Use the multimeter to measure AC or DC voltage or current, and resistance or decibel loss between two nodes in a circuit. The multimeter is auto-ranging, so a measurement range does not need to be specified. Its internal resistance and current are preset to near-ideal values, which can be changed.

To place the instrument, click on the Multimeter button in the Instruments toolbar and click to place its icon on the workspace. Use the icon, shown in the figure below, to wire the Multimeter to the circuit.

Double-click on the icon to open the front panel, shown in the figure below. This is where you enter settings and view measurements.
