This is an AC (sine) current source.
The Value tab in this component's properties dialog box contains the following:
| Parameter | Description |
|---|---|
| Current (Pk) | The peak current of the source. |
| Current offset | The current offset of the source. |
| Frequency (F) | The frequency of the source. |
| Time delay | The delay from when simulation is started until the source starts producing output. |
| Damping factor (1/sec) | The attentuation of the source's output over time. |
| Phase | The phase of the source. A positive value shifts the sinusoid to the left in accordance with the following equation: A*sin (2πft + Phase) where A is the peak current parameter Current (Pk). |
| AC analysis magnitude | This is initially zero. Set as desired when running an AC Sweep. |
| AC analysis phase | This is initially zero. Set as desired when running an AC Sweep. |
| Distortion frequency 1 magnitude | This is initially zero. Set as desired when running a Distortion. |
| Distortion frequency 1 phase | This is initially zero. Set as desired when running a Distortion. |
| Distortion frequency 2 magnitude | This is initially zero. Set as desired when running a Distortion. |
| Distortion frequency 2 phase | This is initially zero. Set as desired when running a Distortion. |
| Tolerance | The tolerance of the source in %. |
Distortion Analysis parameters are set for each source independently. To perform harmonic distortion analysis use only Distortion frequency 1 magnitude and Distortion frequency 1 phase. If you want to perform an intermodulation distortion analysis you must also use Distortion frequency 2 magnitude and Distortion frequency 2 phase.
