Multi-Emitter Generation Software Overview
Multi-Emitter Generation Software supports real-time synthesis and generation of arbitrary I/Q signals using PXI Vector Signal Transceivers (VSTs) and PXI FlexRIO coprocessor modules.
Key Features
Multi-Emitter Generation Software has the following features and capabilities.
- RF generation based on the multi-emitter generation commands (MEG CMD) TDMA file per RF channel.
- Generic multi-emitter generation CMD format provides parameters for I/Q generation.
- Each RF channel supports eight signal cores—six modulation cores and two waveform playback cores—for multi-emitter and pulse-on-pulse generation.
- Modulation cores support the following generation types:
- Continuous wave (CW)
- Linear-frequency modulation (LFM) waveform
- Phase-shift keying (PSK) modulation
- Waveform playback cores support generation of I/Q from user-defined waveform binary files that are converted to TDMS files and loaded into memory for playback.
- Supports PXIe-5842 VST with up to 2 GHz instantaneous bandwidth (IBW).
