Activating Multi-Emitter Generation Software
You need a license for each RF channel in the system. Each RF channel consists of a PXIe-7903 coprocessor and PXIe-5842 VST pair.
Note You do not need an
InstrumentStudio Pro license to use the Multi-Emitter Generation or RF System
Compensation InstrumentStudio plugins
Note The user
must have at least one valid Multi-Emitter Generation
Software license to start the Multi-Emitter
Generation Application.
Configuring Volume License Manager
- Save the license file to a location on the system running the NI Volume License Manager.
- Launch NI Volume License Manager, by navigating to .
- In the window that opens, select .
- In the Getting Started Wizard that opens, click Next.
- In the Select Agreement License File window, click the ellipsis on the right side of the Agreement License File field to open a file selection window.
- Select the file and click Next.
- Click Finish in the next window.
- Close NI Volume License Manager.
Configuring License Manager
- Open NI License Manager and navigate to the Network Licenses window.
- Click Manage volume license servers.
- Enter the network information of the PC that the Volume License Server will be connecting to. If the Volume License Manager is running locally, use localhost.
- Validate that the correct licenses and license seat quantity are displayed.
- Close NI License Manager.
