Stops and deletes the timing source you created or specified for use by another resource. The VI clears the timing source when the current iterations of all active timed structures that reference the timing source complete.

If the timing source is associated with a DAQmx task, the VI also clears the task.

    name is the name of the timing source you want to stop and delete.

    error in describes error conditions that occur before this node runs. This input provides standard error in functionality.

  • istr.png parent —

    parent is the name of the parent of the timing source the VI deleted. If the timing source has no parent, parent is empty.

  • ierrcodeclst.png error out —

    error out contains error information. This output provides standard error out functionality.
