ETX-1640x System Power Dissipation Ratings
The following graph provides guidance of the typical temperature rise above ambient temperature for a given system at a given power level. Temperatures in your rack may exceed temperatures predicted by this graph.
Ensure all equipment integrated into the system is certified for an ambient temperature of the system intake plus this temperature rise. You may interpolate the values in this graph.
Notice The total power
dissipation of equipment in the ETX-16400/16401 should never exceed 11 kW to prevent damage to rack hardware.
Note This figure includes power sourced by the RMX-4104x as if it were dissipated
inside the system.

Caution The system power dissipation
was certified on a fully enclosed system with no openings. The system must be fully
enclosed or additional evaluation and testing will be required to determine maximum
internal temperatures.
