To integrate the ETX-1640x, you must ensure that the test adapter that the system is a part of is configured appropriately with the following considerations.

Signal Path Lengths
Ensure all signal paths connected to the mass interconnect are less than 3 meters in length.
Grounding the ETX-1640x
Protective earthing is provided by the protective earth mechanical lug, as shown in Figure 25. RMX-10140-50D4P (ETX-16400) Power Connections and Figure 26. RMX-10140-50Y2P (ETX-16401) Power Connections. You can utilize functional grounding terminals on the I/O panels for supplemental ground or functional ground.
Interlock Circuit
The ETX-1640x includes an interlock circuit that you can configure to prevent devices from outputting hazardous voltage, with the exception of controlled conditions.
External Current Transducers
The system only supports transducers with voltage outputs. The mass interconnect pins on J18 cannot adequately carry outputs from a current driven transducer.
