Background Segments in DIAdem REPORT |
This example shows how you can highlight interesting areas, for example, controlling a valve, in a 2D axis system by coloring the background.
Use background segments to display Boolean states. A segment corresponds to a colored area where the state is larger 0 or the Boolean value is unequal False. DIAdem plots the segments in the background of the axis system. Match the transparency of the segments so that the segment at the bottom stays visible when the segments overlap.
DIAdem can display background segments in horizontal or vertical direction. If the display is in vertical direction, the x-channel contains the values and the y-channel contains the corresponding boolean states. If the display is in vertical direction, you must assign the channels in the reverse order. Specify the orientation in the dialog box for background segments under Type.
Specify the curve labeling with the event texts in the Curve Parameters»Markers dialog box. The example uses a text channel to label the curve.
