Introduction

The DIAdem introduction describes the modular structure of DIAdem and how you use DIAdem functions to find data, to analyze data, to run analyses, to create reports and worksheets, to design the visualization, and combine all functions to a script.

The section Finding and Managing Data describes how you can find data on your computer and on computers connected to your computer via a network. In DIAdem NAVIGATOR you can drag and drop external data into the Data Portal to work with this data in DIAdem.

The section Analyzing Data with Mathematics Functions describes how to calculate channels and single values with DIAdem ANALYSIS.

The section Analyzing and Editing Data Graphically describes how to view and to edit data with DIAdem VIEW.

The section Creating Reports describes how to create reports with DIAdem REPORT to document and to present calculation results.

The section Automating Sequences describes how to create scripts in order to process recurring sequences automatically. You can create your own interfaces to select calculation methods, to request entries, or to load data.

The section Installing Measurement Hardware and Communicating via Interfaces describes how to install a data acquisition board and how to connect it to an external measurement device via an interface.

The section The Block Diagram Describes the Measurement Task describes how to create block diagrams with DIAdem DAC, to acquire measured values and to process and output the data during the measurement.

The section Visualizing Data and Operating Facilities describes how to use DIAdem VISUAL for visualization, to display the acquired and processed measurement values, and to influence the measurement using manual instruments.

The section Working with Packet Processing describes how to acquire and process the data as data packets, while single point processing acquires, processes, and outputs the data value by value.

The section Monitoring Processes with the Alarm System describes how to monitor signals for limits, to trigger alarms with increasing priority.

The section The Basics of Measurement and Control Technology with DIAdem gives you a brief introduction to the basics of measurement and control technology and describes the measurement modes and sampling rates that are available in DIAdem.
