Monitor a Web service state in NI Distributed System Manager. Control service operation, reset statistics, and send HTTP requests using URL mappings.

Requires: NI Distributed System Manager (Windows)

Right-click a Web service and select Probe from the shortcut menu to display this view. This view displays the state of the selected Web service and allows you to pause, resume, restart, or reset statistics for the Web service. You also can send HTTP requests to the Web service using available URL mappings.

This view includes the following components:

  • Location —Displays the location of the selected Web Service.
  • State —Displays whether the Web Service is running or paused.
  • Pause —Pauses the selected Web Service.
  • Resume —Resumes the selected Web Service.
  • Restart —Restarts the selected Web Service.
  • Reset Statistics —Resets all statistical variables for the selected Web Service.
  • URL Mappings —Displays a listbox of available URL Mappings for the selected Web Service.
