Your NI User Account gives you access to your My Account dashboard, product activation, order and quote status and history, saved configurations, the NI Community, and many other resources. An account is required to purchase products from ni.com.
- Go to ni.com and move your cursor over the Profile button.
- From the drop-down menu that appears, select Create an Account.
- Complete the form, then click Create Account.
- A verification email will be sent to you. Find the email and enter the 6-digit code to complete the account creation process.
- During the account creation process, you will be asked to specify an Account Type and your company and organization. Refer to the linked articles if you need help with these steps.
Troubleshooting an Unsuccessful NI User Account Setup
If you complete the steps above, but are not successful, you may experience one of the following errors:
- The first is a redirect loop that takes you back to account setup. This issue usually means the one-time setup wasn’t fully completed. Clear your browser cache/cookies and try again or try a different browser.
- You may also see an error that says, “Unfortunately, we are unable to provision your account.” This error can occur when the system can’t automatically match your setup details to existing records.
