This document contains the LabVIEW Communications System Design Suite 5.0 known issues that were discovered before and since the release of LabVIEW Communications System Design Suite 5.0. Error 0x80004005 occurs while trying to configure the Ethernet settings on a LabVIEW Communications Real-Time TargetWhen configuring the Ethernet port settings on a LabVIEW Communications Real-Time Target, error 0x80004005 will occur if the Ethernet port does not have an active network connection.
Workaround: Connect the Ethernet port you are trying to configure to an active network connection.

NI Linux Real-Time distribution has POSIX as locale instead of UTF8Previous versions of the LabVIEW Communications System Design Suite supported UTF8 locales on Real-Time targets. LabVIEW Communications System Design Suite 5.0 now only supports POSIX locales on Real-Time targets. As a result, using non-ASCII characters with NI Linux Real-Time devices may cause unexpected behavior.
Workaround: There is currently no known workaround for this issue. |
