# Linear Averages (G Dataflow)

Computes the average pixel intensity (mean line profile) on the whole or part of the image.  ## image in

Four-element array that contains the left, top, right, and bottom coordinates of the region to process.

The right and bottom values are exclusive and lie outside the region. The node applies the operation to the entire image if optional rectangle is empty or not connected. ## average types

If average types is empty, the node calculates all four types of linear averages.
