Read OCR Character Set File (G Dataflow)

Last Modified: October 25, 2017

Reads a character set and session properties from the character set file specified by classifier file path.

This node adds the character set to the trained character set that the Read Text 4 node uses during the reading process.

connector_pane_image
datatype_icon

classifier file path

Path name, including drive, directory, and filename, of the file to read.

datatype_icon

OCR session in

OCR session on which the node operates.

To create a session, use the Create OCR Session node.

datatype_icon

append

Boolean that specifies whether to append trained characters to the existing character set or replace the existing character set.

The characters you append to or copy over the existing character set are those in the character set file you specified in classifier file path.

TRUE Appends trained characters to the existing character set.
FALSE Replaces the existing character set.

Default: FALSE

datatype_icon

read options

Options for what to read from the file.

Name Value Description
read all 0

Read both the character set data and the session properties from the file.

read character set only 1

(Default) Read only the character set data from the file.

read properties only 2

Read only the session properties from the file.

datatype_icon

error in

Error conditions that occur before this node runs.

The node responds to this input according to standard error behavior.

Standard Error Behavior

Many nodes provide an error in input and an error out output so that the node can respond to and communicate errors that occur while code is running. The value of error in specifies whether an error occurred before the node runs. Most nodes respond to values of error in in a standard, predictable way.

error in does not contain an error error in contains an error
If no error occurred before the node runs, the node begins execution normally.

If no error occurs while the node runs, it returns no error. If an error does occur while the node runs, it returns that error information as error out.

If an error occurred before the node runs, the node does not execute. Instead, it returns the error in value as error out.

Default: No error

datatype_icon

OCR session out

OCR session on which this node operates.

datatype_icon

description

Describes the character set.

datatype_icon

error out

Error information.

The node produces this output according to standard error behavior.
