The National Instruments PXIe-ExpressCard-8360 kit provides remote control of any NI product with a cabled PCI Express x1 ("by one") connector from a laptop computer with either an ExpressCard/34 or ExpressCard/54 slot. The PXIe-ExpressCard-8360 kit consists of an ExpressCard-8360 card in the laptop connected via an ExpressCard MXI cable to an PXIe-8360 module in slot 1 of a PXI Express chassis. The ExpressCard-8360 card provides a x1 PCI Express link cabled to the PXIe-8360 module. The PXIe-8360 module implements a PCI Express-to-PCI Express switch that connects the cabled PCI Express link to the PCI Express bus used in PXI Express chassis.
