Window Show (G Dataflow)

Last Modified: October 24, 2017

Shows or hides an image window.

connector_pane_image
datatype_icon

window number

Image window to show or hide. The window is identified by a number from 0 to 15.

Default: 0

datatype_icon

hide/show?

Boolean value that specifies whether an image window is visible. The node considers this input only when get/set? is TRUE (Set).

True Hide
False Show

Default: TRUE (Hide)

datatype_icon

bring to front?

Boolean value that specifies whether to bring a window to the foreground. This input is used only when get/set? is TRUE (Set) and hide/show? is also TRUE.

True Bring window to foreground
False Do not bring window to foreground

Default: FALSE

datatype_icon

get/set?

Boolean value that specifies whether to determine the bit depth of the image or modify the bit depth of the image.

True Set
False Get

Default: TRUE (Set)

datatype_icon

error in

Error conditions that occur before this node runs.

The node responds to this input according to standard error behavior.

Standard Error Behavior

Many nodes provide an error in input and an error out output so that the node can respond to and communicate errors that occur while code is running. The value of error in specifies whether an error occurred before the node runs. Most nodes respond to values of error in in a standard, predictable way.

error in does not contain an error error in contains an error
If no error occurred before the node runs, the node begins execution normally.

If no error occurs while the node runs, it returns no error. If an error does occur while the node runs, it returns that error information as error out.

If an error occurred before the node runs, the node does not execute. Instead, it returns the error in value as error out.

Default: No error

datatype_icon

visible?

Visibility status of the image window. A visible image window returns TRUE.

True Image window is visible.
False Image window is not visible.
datatype_icon

frontmost window?

Boolean value that indicates if an image window is in the front.

True Window is in front
False Window is not in front
datatype_icon

error out

Error information.

The node produces this output according to standard error behavior.

Where This Node Can Run:

Desktop OS: Windows

FPGA: Not supported

Web Server: Not supported in VIs that run in a web application
